As a person I would say I am laid back and accept other peopleâ??s views which most likely comes from being an atheist. Sometimes I do get angry but if I am, as it takes so much there is always a good reason. Even so I tend to be the first to apologise if I get into an argument as I hate the tension they cause.

My hobbies used to include things such as hiking, although I tore my calf muscles on a recent trip and so that is kinda off the list, I dont know for how long and I miss going hiking so much, especially as I grew up in the Lake District and so was spoiled for views etc.

My interests now are more going to the cinema, sometimes biking, lying in bed till noon, having a good night out.

Oh and my profile awards I dont think are a true indication of who I am as it says I am less emotional for one thing and I doubt that very much, not that I am overly emotional and cry at every film, just I can express my emotions and feel comfortable about doing so, which I think is more than most guys can manage. I'm 20 years old and tend to vary between feeling/acting like I'm 5 and 50. I'm currently studying philosophy at Sheffield Uni, which I love, mostly, but seem to be failing at quite a bit due to my poor exam skills (and organisation if I'm honest). Having said that, I'm actually quite a good philosopher when I put my mind to it and still find it endlessly fascinating. This, and a tendency to care deeply about things, obviously mean that I love arguing... I mean debating :) Only about political/philosophical issues though. Otherwise I'm pretty easy going.

I'm a feminist. This is something that's very important to me. I'm not sure why this is, but I suspect the strong influence Joss Whedon had on my formative years may have had something to do with it...

Music is a massive part of my life, if I'm not listening to it I'm playing it or talking about it. I'm a violinist and pianist, although I don't practice nearly enough anymore, and my music tastes are broad to say the least. I have a tendency towards the noisy and the experimental, but also love folk and classical and have a special place in my heart for the Scissor Sisters. I love going to gigs, and, sad git that I am, will happily go on my own if no one else is interested.

Hello, I'm Calvin. Mandatory "I'm not very good at writing these things". I spend alot of my time thinking about who/what I am and what is going to happen to me. Which is probably a waste of the time as the only thing that really exists ever is the present. I spend the rest of my time talking to/being with my friends and listening to/writing music. Music is really my main love, it's always in my head in some way. I'm also a pretty big fan of colours and closely link them with sound.

Well the last time I edited this I was 26, and I'm now 28 almost 29, so I guess it's been a while and a little has happened! I quit my job, went to Australia for 10 months and had an awesome time. But now I'm back and staying with my sister, and living in Leeds. I'm a bit in between things at present, trying to decide what I want to do next, coming back with no job is pretty difficult in the present climate!

I have a wide variety of interests - from knitting to all kinds of music but especially indie at the moment, though you'll also often find me at goth nights in the vicinity. I love to dance but not in a I'm-a-dancer sort of way, just that I like to dance, but if they're music especially at corp or batfink, then invariably I'm dancing.
